Actinic Keratosis (AK): Aldara cream is used to treat AK, which are rough, scaly patches on the skin caused by excessive sun exposure over time. It helps to reduce the number of these lesions.

How to Use Aldara cream?

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area just before going to bed. Rub it in gently. Leave the medicine on the treated skin for 8 hours (for actinic keratosis or basal cell carcinoma) or 6 to 10 hours (for genital warts). Do not bathe, swim or soak the treated area during this time.
